Lake County residents have experienced multi-decade stagnation. Taxpayers are ready to give new voices and new ideas a chance. They are ready to elect a new County Board.

I am Del Parra. I am not a politician. I am someone who knows our community. For many years I have lived, worked and volunteered my time. This is my home. I want it to be the best it can be for me, my family, my friends, and my neighbors. I am not happy with the direction in which our community is headed. That is why I am a candidate for Lake County Board in District 15. We need to create jobs, reduce taxes and improve the quality of life. That is what I want to do if you elect me to the County Board.

How do we build a better Lake County? It starts with understanding the problem. Median income is sluggish; Job creation is flat, at best; Unemployment is over 11% and much higher for young people; Family debt is going up; the income gap is widening. Is this what we want for ourselves and for our families? Of course not, no one wants a future without hope.

So what do we do? We have to start with creative ideas to create jobs, reduce taxes, and reduce spending. We need an agenda of action.

I hope you will spend a few minutes on my website and consider my ideas. I’m not a career politician. Partisan interests will play no role in what I do. Lake County people and companies come first. Jobs, tax reduction and improving the lives of our senior citizens are my priorities. Thank you for visiting my website, and I hope you will give me your vote in this election.
